Quick answer

  • Being stored does not mean every item can share one parcel or route.
  • Keep restriction labels and separate-packaging notices visible when asking for help.
  • Confirm an eligible route and the full cost before authorising a split shipment.

Several items can be visible in the warehouse without being eligible for the same parcel. When submission fails, record the exact message before changing selections or paying for additional services.

This guide helps you prepare a useful support question. It does not identify a universally available route or suggest bypassing mailing restrictions.

Why stored items may not combine

Mailing restrictions and separate-packaging requirements can prevent items from being submitted together.

Inspectors assign mailing restrictions based on characteristics such as brand, category and size. The system uses those restrictions when suggesting routes. A stored status alone therefore does not establish that your proposed combination has an eligible service.

Record the details before trying again

Use our suggested checklist:

  • Save the full message and the time it appeared.
  • List the selected item IDs and any separate-packaging notices.
  • Record the displayed mailing restrictions for each item.
  • Confirm the destination country and postcode are entered correctly.
  • Note whether a route disappears only when a particular item is included.
  • Save any relevant weight or size information shown for the proposed parcel.

Treat those observations as clues for support, not permission to change a product’s classification. A mismatch between an item’s description and its restriction should be reviewed through the official account channel.

Ask which part of the selection is incompatible

Instead of asking “Why can’t I ship?”, identify the item combination and the missing option. Our suggested diagnostic table is:

What you see Useful question for support
Separate-packaging notice Must this item be submitted on its own?
Different restriction labels Is there an eligible route for this combination and destination?
A weight or size warning Which limit does the proposed packed parcel exceed?
No visible explanation Can you identify the blocking item or missing information?

This table lists questions to investigate, not confirmed causes of every failed submission. Do not assume that splitting a selection will produce an available route.

Compare a split shipment before authorising it

If support confirms a split is needed and eligible, request a separate quote for each parcel. Our suggested comparison includes item IDs, route, packed measurements, selected services and the combined payable total.

The weight guide explains why adding loose item weights does not necessarily reproduce a packed quote. Avoid comparing one complete quote with another that omits packaging or an extra parcel’s charges.

Where protection is the issue, ask whether a permitted packing method changes the proposal. Do not remove essential protection simply to make a route appear cheaper.

Keep the storage deadline in view

While investigating, check the oldest affected item’s expiry. Item storage and a submitted parcel awaiting payment have different deadlines. Do not assume an unsuccessful submission pauses either deadline; confirm your situation with support.

Suggested support message:

I am trying to submit item IDs [IDs] to [country/postcode]. The message is [exact wording]. Their restriction labels are [labels]. Please identify what prevents consolidation, whether an eligible route or split is available, and the separate costs and deadlines before I proceed.
